The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R Track Connect is a track and competition tire developed to maximize performance and reduce lap times. With a high-traction tread compound taken directly from Michelin's motorsport tires this asymmetric tread pattern has reduced void areas that improve grip in dry conditions. It has a massive outboard shoulder and the circumferential grooves are narrower, creating wider tread ribs for more rubber in the contact patch than the traditional Pilot Sport Cup 2. The inner shoulder is focused on wet traction with deeper lateral notches to evacuate water but this tire is still aimed significantly at dry surface performance. The Pilot Sport Cup 2 R Track Connect version enhances your ability to improve on track times with the Michelin Track Connect system that provides real-time tire pressure and temperature readings as you drive.
