The Maxxis Trepador is an extreme off-road tire capable of handling tough off-road conditions. They are designed with a tread design that provides superior side bite and grip in rugged terrain environments. Trepador tires have multi-curve siping that ensures excellent handling and traction on slippery and loose dirt surfaces. They are reinforced to help prevent punctures and improve tread life.

The 40X13.50R17 Maxxis Trepador has a diameter of 40.1", a width of 14.3", mounts on a 17" rim and has 518 revolutions per mile. It has a max load of 3415 lbs, has a maximum air pressure of 45 psi, a tread depth of 23/32" and should be used on a rim width of 9.5-11".

Comments : Great off road/snow/ice/rock/mud and looks bad ass, however very bad vibrations when tire is cold, gets flat spots overnight, poor road noise, smooths out after about 15 miles each morning, heavy tire and not good on fuel. I put about 5k on them at time of review. They seem not to wear too bad. Everyone loves this tire; I get asked about it all the time.
