Like the Cooper Discoverer LT the XLT is an all-terrain tire built to haul heavy loads and withstand constant punishment from dirt, gravel and other harsh off-road environments. Designed to prevent damage on rocky and gravel terrain stone ejector ledges help maintain a clean tread and enhance traction with the added benefit of rugged traction shoulders. These provide increased off-road traction for rock crawling and mud as well as additional resistance to abrasion and punctures. With engineered tire shape technology the Discoverer AT3 XLT was designed to evenly contact the road which promotes longer tread life and superior handling.

The 285/65R18 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT has a diameter of 32.56", a width of 11.6", mounts on a 18" rim and has 637 revolutions per mile. It weighs 56 lbs, has a max load of 3640/3305 lbs, a maximum air pressure of 80 psi, a tread depth of 16/32" and should be used on a rim width of 8-10".

Comments : This is my second set of the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's. Had them on my F150 and now my F250. I used to be a BFG KO/KO2 fan but not anymore. Cooper has really stepped up their game with these new tires. They are smooth, quiet and balance out easy, unlike the BFG KO/KO2's. I can say they are just as quiet and smooth as the stock OEM Michelin M/S2 tires my truck came with. If you are reading this debating on whether to buy these tires or not, just buy them you wont be disappointed.

Comments : I replaced the stock OEM 275/65R20 Michelin LTX MS2 tires. The OEM Michelin's were very smooth and quiet. I was kind of nervous about purchasing the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's. I wanted my truck to have a better looking tire without scraficing the ride. Well I can tell you these tires are just as smooth as the Michelin's and are just as quiet. I am very glad I purchased these. I used to be a BFG KO2 fan, but now I have found my go to tire!
